Planning support for one of the UK’s largest foundation and IAC packages

Procon Planning supported Van Oord during the engineering and procurement phase of this major EPCI contract, covering 100 extended monopile foundations and 136 km of inter-array cable.

With a vast, Pan-European supply chain, our focus was on aligning design, procurement, fabrication and delivery, validating contractor schedules, and forecasting their ability to deliver installation-ready components in line with contractual obligations.

Challenging soil, weather and vessel constraints required a tightly controlled installation sequence and therefore a highly specific delivery sequence. Our hands-on, collaborative approach helped maintain schedule credibility and gave Van Oord the confidence needed to execute one of the UK’s most complex offshore wind packages.
